The spotlight will be on UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:UNH) when it releases Q4 results ahead of Tuesday's opening bell. Analysts expect the health care giant to report earnings of $2.10 per share on revenue of a whopping $113.82 billion, according to estimates from Benzinga Pro.
Investors will be watching UnitedHealth's medical care ratio (MCR) to determine if elevated utilization in outpatient and physician services has begun to stabilize.
Attention will also be focused on management’s 2026 financial guidance, specifically regarding the path to margin recovery and the impact of the company’s strategic decision to rebate Affordable Care Act profits.
