Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:SIMO) shares surged 78.9% to $93.40 following a report suggesting China approval of the company's Maxlinear merger.
Vicor Corporation (NASDAQ:VICR) shares gained 48.3% to $88.12 after the company posted better-than-expected second-quarter results.
PacWest Bancorp (NASDAQ:PACW) shares rose 25.6% to $9.66 after the company announced a merger with Banc of California. PacWest Bancorp also reported upbeat quarterly earnings.
Teladoc Health, Inc. (NYSE:TDOC) gained 25.7% to $28.65 following better-than-expected quarterly results.
