Monday's trading session has seen a huge risk reversal taking place in the markets, with investors dumping conservative securities in favor of higher yielding, riskier assets. Among the best performing sectors today have been emerging markets, financials, and technology.

The iShares MSCI Spain Index ETF (NYSE: EWP) has surged 13.38% to $37.88 as investors reacted to an announcement by European policy makers of a nearly $1 trillion loan package to ease the region's sovereign debt crisis.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ETF (NYSE: FAS) has soared 12.77% to $30.51 in today's trading session. Volume has been heavier than normal with 43.78 million shares trading hands so far today.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS), seeks daily investment results of 300% of the price performance of the Russell 1000 Financial Services Index (the Financial Index).

Investors are also snapping up shares of real estate companies and REITS. The ProShares Ultra Real Estate ETF (NYSE: URE) has gained 10.78% to $44.20.

Another leveraged ETF which is having a huge day is the Direxion Daily Emerging Markets Bull 3X ETF (NYSE: EDC), which has jumped 17.14% on the trading day.

The EDC seeks daily investment results of 300% of the price performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index (the EM Index).

The Semiconductor HOLDRs ETF (NYSE: SMH) has notched a gain of 4.15% during today' trading. Among the stocks that are components of this ETF are Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD), Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), and SanDisk (NASDAQ: SNDK), among many others.

The Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSE: XLF), which is one of the most liquid and widely used ETFs in existence, has gained 4.45% today to $15.77. The XLF seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the Financial Select Sector of the S&P 500 Index.
