Barron’s Assessment Of The President’s SOTU Address

It seems like the Republican party has made a resolution to bash President Obama on any available occasion. Now, the baton has been passed from Joe Wilson to Mr. Sam Alito.

Alito seems to be performing his role with the subtlety expected from a noted jurist. However, the tactic still remains uncouth and ineffective.

According to Barron’s, President Obama’s State of the Union message was full of tall promises, in line with the convention of the SOTU speeches. The President not only relied on rhetoric but also junked the Massachusetts poll results. Thus, both parties are engaging in actions which are not doing the economy any good.
