Lightening Round: Jim Cites BAC, C, COP, CMG As Attractive Buys
In his “Lightening Round,” Jim Cramer said that Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) has already suffered much and currently most banks are undervalued. He believes that BAC’s position in the mortgage market is strong and one should start buying the stock. Jim says Citigroup (NYSE: C) is fine, as it has held on to the "print price." It is also a good buy.
For ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP), Jim said he has been on the right side of the argument on whether one should buy the stock. COP’s yield stands at 4%, making it an excellent buy. Moreover, this company has extensive exposure to natural gas, which should be in great demand in the near future.
Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) has the best food and is the cleanest and could deliver a multi-year move like Panera Bread (NASDAQ: PNRA).
Jim disclosed that the President is against online education companies. Although he prefers American Public Education (NASDAQ: APEI) in this sector due to the company’s association with the military, he would rather sell the stocks of all such companies. He stressed that the President is extremely keen on protecting brick and mortar institutions offering higher education.
