Rockwell Automation Posts Better-Than-Expected Earnings, Joins Oscar Health, Charles River Laboratories, Walt Disney, Voya Financial And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 200 points on Wednesday.

Shares of Rockwell Automation, Inc. ROK rose sharply during Wednesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY25 adjusted EPS and GAAP EPS guidance. Also, the company issued FY25 sales guidance above estimates.

Sales fell 6% year over year (Y/Y) and slid 4% organically to $2.001 billion, versus the consensus of $1.96 billion. Total ARR grew 8% Y/Y. Adjusted EPS was $2.45 (-2% Y/Y), above the analyst consensus of $2.09.

Rockwell Automation shares jumped 12.4% to $284.30 on Wednesday.
