U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones gaining around 350 points on Wednesday.

Shares of Progress Software Corp (NASDAQ:PRGS) rose sharply during Wednesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter adjusted EPS results and issued first-quarter guidance above estimates. Also, the company issued FY26 guidance above estimates.

Progress Software reported quarterly earnings of $1.51 per share, which beat the Street estimate of $1.31. Quarterly revenue came in at $252.67 million, compared to the consensus estimate of $252.86 million.

Progress Software shares jumped 20.5% to $46.50 on Wednesday.

• Lexicon Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:LXRX) shares jumped 10.3% to $1.44. Lexicon Pharmaceuticals announced successful end-of-Phase 2 meeting with the FDA for Pilavapadin in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain.
• Comstock Resources Inc (NYSE:CRK) gained 9.8% to $24.49.
• Tronox Holdings PLC (NYSE:TROX) surged 9.5% to $6.06. Truist Securities analyst Peter Osterland maintained Tronox with a Buy and raised the price target from $5 to $7.
• Teledyne Technologies Inc (NYSE:TDY) gained 9.2% to $618.47 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
• Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC) gained 9.1% to $52.97.
• Arm Holdings PLC – ADR (NASDAQ:ARM) surged 9% to $116.81 after Susquehanna upgraded the stock from Neutral to Positive and maintained its $150 price target.
• Nuscale Power Corp (NYSE:SMR) gained 8.1% to $20.50.
• Quantumscape Corp (NASDAQ:QS) gained 8% to $11.05.
• Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:MRNA) gained 6.4% to $45.76. Moderna and Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK) on Tuesday shared median five-year follow-up data from the Phase 2b KEYNOTE-942/mRNA-4157-P201 study of mRNA-based individualized neoantigen therapy for a serious type of skin cancer.
