Roblox Posts Upbeat Results, Joins Paycom Software, Norwegian Cruise Line, Altria Group, Booking And Othe

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 200 points on Thursday.

Shares of Roblox Corporation (NYSE:RBLX) rose sharply during Thursday’s session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and reported a year-over-year increase in daily active users and hours engaged.

The video game developer reported an adjusted EPS loss of 37 cents, beating the analyst consensus loss estimate of 0.39 cents. The revenue of the American video game developer grew by 29% Y/Y to $919 million.

Roblox shares climbed 21.5% to $52.13 on Thursday.
