Scheduled for May 21-23, 2012 at Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, B. Riley has expanded this year's conference to three days, 200 companies and more than 1,000 attendees. Institutional investors will hear presentations from management teams of companies in the following sectors: Technology, Telecom, Software & Services, Financials, Internet, Media & Entertainment, Consumer, Semiconductors, Automotive & Power Sports, Special Situations, and Aerospace & Defense.
Though this institutional investor conference has traditionally featured small and mid-cap companies, B. Riley will be opening this year's event on Monday, May 21st with an afternoon dedicated to presentations by “Discovery” micro-cap companies currently not covered by B. Riley research.
“In selecting ‘Discovery' companies, our research team reviewed several hundred micro-cap companies and selected 50 from this 'below the radar' group,” said Ian Corydon, B. Riley Director of Research. “Many of these companies don't often get the opportunity to present at investor conferences and their stories are not widely known. As such, we believe investors may find some hidden gems among the group.”
