Rentech Inc. (RTK) engages in clean energy solutions to address national energy security issues and long-term demand for fuels and electric power while limiting emissions. The Company develops and licenses its clean energy technologies to produce ultra-clean synthetic fuels.

"The Company's (RenDiesel (r)) is attractive to fleet-owning organization because of its ultra-low sulfur properties. The product is biodegradable, with no aromatics, and exceeds global sulfur emitting guidelines and compares very well against traditional petroleum products, with tailpipe emissions from RenDiesel revealing lower traces of carbon monoxide, particulate matter, nitrogen oxides (NOX), sulfur oxides (SOX) and carbon dioxide.
"On August 21, RTK announced it sold the Company's RenDiesel fuel to the Department of Defense to demonstrate the viability of the fuel at the upcoming Selfridge Air National Guard air show. This news comes on the heels of a previous Company announcement that it sold RenJet fuel to the United States Air Force, which has a goal of using synthetic jet fuel in half of its total fuel use by 2016."
