Casino Stocks up Today (MGM, WYNN, LVS)

MGM MIRAGE (NYSE: MGM) gained 4.23% at $10.84 in morning trading on huge volume of 10.80 million shares. The 52 week trading range for the stock is $1.81 and $16.89.
Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) rallied 3.83% on 14.27 million shares and now trades at $17.62. So far this year LVS gained over 197%.
Wynn Resorts, Limited (NASDAQ: WYNN) is also moving higher by 2.78% to $65.87 on 1.47 million shares after Ken Fisher said that he expects Wynn Resorts to report revenue growth above $3 billion and earnings at $1.5 billion. In the last six months, the stock gained over 34%.
Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD) soared 5.11% and now trades at $8.84 on 525K shares. So far during this year BYD has jumped up over 86%.
Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd (NASDAQ: MPEL) jumped up 2.81% to $4.76 on 3.59 million shares after Melco Crown announced that it will file its third quarter results for 2009 on November 17, 2009. So far this year MPEL has jumped up over 50%.
Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc (NYSE: PNK) surged 5.33% today to $9.69 on 277K shares after Six Casino hotels including Pinnacle Entertainment selected The Rainmaker Group for their revenue management
services.
