    Friday's USDA hog slaughter was 419,000 head versus a year ago at 380,000 head. Lean Hogs ended Friday lower after a back and forth trading session. June Hogs were trading at 76.05, down 0.30. August Lean Hogs were trading at 77.40, down 0.52. October Lean hogs were trading at 70.67, down 0.85.

  • Live Cattle Futures Plunge

    Friday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 100,000 head versus a year ago at 110,000 head. Live Cattle futures ended the session down the limit of 3.00 points. June Live Cattle was offered down the 3.00 limit at 149.00. August Live cattle was offered at 146.67, down 3.00.
