• Huntsman Corporation (NYSE:HUN) gained 8.5 percent to $28.99. Huntsman and Switzerland’s Clariant AG (OTC:CLZNY) are near reaching a deal to merge in an all-stock transaction, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal on Sunday. The deal could be announced on Monday, sources said.
• Amicus Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:FOLD) shares rose 8.5 percent to $8.40 in pre-market trading after the company issued planned analysis of primary endpoints in Phase 3 epidermolysis bullosa study. The company disclosed that top-line data for SD-101 for epidermolysis bullosa is on track for the third quarter of 2017.
