Lamb Weston Posts Better-Than-Expected Results, Joins Sanofi And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling over 1,200 points on Thursday.

Shares of Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. LW rose sharply during Thursday's session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and issued FY25 sales guidance above estimates.

Lamb Weston reported quarterly earnings of $1.10 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 87 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.52 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.49 billion.

Lamb Weston shares jumped 10% to $59.52 on Thursday.
