SentinelOne Inc. (NYSE:S) shares surged as much as 16.2% on Monday, the stock’s second-biggest one-day gain on record and within striking distance of the 16.5% it posted on Dec. 6, 2023.
The move is a sector re-rating: Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk all argued over the weekend that AI development should slow, and traders read a more dangerous threat environment as a bigger security budget.
CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD), Zscaler Inc. (NASDAQ:ZS) and Palo Alto Networks Inc. (NASDAQ:PANW) each rallied 13%-15%.
The Amplify Cybersecurity ETF (NYSE:HACK) soared 8.3% on pace for its best session since April 2025.
