Meredith Whitney, a banking analyst at Meredith Whitney Advisory Group LLC, told CNBC in a televised interview this morning that "...there is no doubt that home prices will go down dramatically from here, it's just a question of when."

Ms. Whitney believes home prices can go down another 25% from this point citing several points. No banks underwrote mortgages in 2005-2007 with prolonged 10% unemployment in mind. Also she sees another significant leg down for the stock market.

Investors are able to bet on residential home prices by buying MacroShares Housing Down (NYSE: DMM) or MacroShares Housing Up (NYSE: UMM).
