American Greetings Corporation (NYSE: AM)  rallied 25.50% on 1.64 million shares and now trades at $18.79 it reported second quarter EPS of $0.59 Thursday morning, which included a pre-tax benefit from an insurance program of about $0.19 per share. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.06.

That was up from $21.1 million, or 10 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue climbed 12% to $183.6 million
