Cramer: This REIT Is 'A Little Too Dicey'; As For Marathon Digital, 'Own The Pure'

Zinger Key Points
  • Portillo's is an "overvalued" company, says Cramer.
  • Cramer says Powell Industries is just a "really good" company.

On CNBC’s "Mad Money Lightning Round," Jim Cramer recommended holding onto Regions Financial Corporation RF. "It’s not my favorite bank, but I think it’s fine," he added.

On Feb. 14, Regions Financial appointed former AutoZone CEO Bill Rhodes to serve on the boards of Regions Financial Corp. and its subsidiary, Regions Bank.

Cramer recommended owning BlackRock, Inc. BLK as the stock is going higher. "I think BlackRock is the distinguishing event, it is the great financial repository for our nation," he added.

On March 5, BlackRock successfully priced $3 billion offering of senior notes.

"I’m not sure I like it because I just think it’s a little too dicey," Cramer said when asked about VICI Properties Inc. VICI. "Let’s have them back on, maybe we can figure out what the heck is going on, because I do think the management there is excellent."

On Feb. 22, VICI Properties posted better-than-expected quarterly sales.

The "Mad Money" host recommended buying the bitcoin ETF, when asked about Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. MARA. "Don’t fool around, own the pure."

On March 5, Marathon Digital announced Bitcoin production and mining operation updates for Feb. 2024.

When asked about Generac Holdings Inc. GNRC, he said, "As long as interest rates are going to go low, or lower, that’s fine with me, because the grid’s awful."

On March 4, Generac Power Systems announced the appointment of Talal Butt as chief information officer.

Cramer said Powell Industries, Inc. POWL is just a "really good" company.

On Jan. 30, Powell Industries reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results.

Portillo's Inc. PTLO is an "overvalued company, and I just don’t get how they could make it so they don’t have better earnings. I mean it, they need better earnings," Cramer said.

On Feb. 29, Portillo priced its $116 million offering of 8 million Class A common stock in a "synthetic secondary" transaction.

"That’s T-cell immunity, I have always felt that that is an incredible, hopeful product, so that with speculation money, I’m fine with it," Cramer said about Cabaletta Bio, Inc. CABA.

On Feb. 1, Cabaletta Bio said that the FDA granted orphan drug designation to CABA-201 for the treatment of myositis.
