US stock futures are higher this morning, as investors are economic data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 37 points to 14,686.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 3.80 points to 1,580.30. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 8.50 points to 2,839.00. US stocks closed mostly lower on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average gaining 0.08% to 14,712.55, the S&P 500 index falling 0.18% to 1,582.24 and the Nasdaq 100 index dropping 0.33% to 3,279.26. Data on personal income and spending for March will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. The pending home sales index for March will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET, while the Dallas Fed general business activity index for April will be released at 10:30 a.m. ET. Armstrong World Industries
