This week, we're spotlighting Jason Momoa and riffing on his recent Instagram post. "Do not travel to Maui," the "Justice League" actor said. That's because affordable flights are required to facilitate the evacuation of wildfire victims from the island, with local hotels giving priority to those who have been displaced and devastated by a wildfire.

"Do not convince yourself that your presence is needed on an island that is suffering this deeply," Momoa said.

To those who would like to help, the "Game of Thrones" star suggested several organizations to make donations to in order to help Lahaina Shores, including ActBlue Emergency Fundraiser for Maui Fire and the Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.

Momoa, a native of Hawaii, also cited @kakoo_haleakala — the organization Kāko’o Haleakalā — which describes itself as “on a mission to protect and preserve the Land and native species of the Hawaiian Kingdom.”
