Blue Owl Capital Inc. (NYSE:OWL) has hired Takeo Ikemori to run its institutional capital effort in Japan, adding a senior fundraising and solutions executive as it pushes deeper into the country. 

The firm said Ikemori will help oversee the Tokyo operation alongside Yoichi Nakamura, who leads the company’s Japan private wealth business. Ikemori is joining as a managing director, representative in Japan, and head of Japan institutional capital, based in Tokyo. He will report to Michael Dale, who runs Asia institutional capital for Blue Owl.
