Wednesday's USDA hog slaughter was 420,000 head versus a year ago at 397,000 head. Lean Hog Futures traded choppy after Tuesday's sharp move up. At last check August Lean Hogs were trading at 75.40, down 0.52 and October Lean Hogs were trading at 64.92, unchanged on the day. December Lean Hogs at last check were trading at 61.47, up 0.25.
