Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, trading above the key $1,800 mark this morning.
Kava (CRYPTO: KAVA) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Frax Share (CRYPTO: FXS) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.14 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 1.6%. BTC was trading higher by 1.9% at $27,327 while ETH rose by around 2.1% to $1,853 on Tuesday.
