U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 150 points on Wednesday.
Shares of Worthington Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:WOR) rose sharply during Wednesday's session as the company posted better-than-expected results for its second quarter.
On Tuesday, the company reported a net sales decline of 8% year over year to $274.0 million, beating the consensus of $273.77 million. The decline was attributed to the deconsolidation of the former Sustainable Energy Solutions segment. Adjusted EPS of 60 cents exceeded the consensus of 52 cents.
Worthington Enterprises shares jumped 14.4% to $43.72 on Wednesday.
