With new lock screen widgets, users can separate work and play apps. For instance, the Gmail widget will automatically show new messages, while Map Search can provide links to nearby restaurants, gas stations, and more.
Similarly, the Google News Lock Screen widget can help users go through headlines quickly, while the shortcut to Google Lens will translate text into over 100 languages.
Additionally, YouTube and YouTube Music home screen widgets can assist users in browsing new videos or playing their favorite music.
