The Secret Service also released a statement in response to Saturday's event.

Despite the security hiccup, President Biden's activities went on as planned. He proceeded with his weekend itinerary in Wilmington.

According to the report, Biden reached his residence in Greenville on Friday night. On Saturday afternoon, the president was present at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine Catholic Church in Greenville for a church service.
