Shares of Time Warner TWX spiked to a high of $96.95 Monday, following a tweet from Charlie Gasparino that the Trump administration will approve the merger with AT&T T, according to banking sources. CNN could be spunoff or sold to a potential buyer, namely CBS Corporation CBS, sources said. Trump said during the election campaign that he opposed the merger.

Fred's FRED agreed to buy the 200 extra stores agreed upon Monday between Rite Aid RAD and Walgreens WBA. Fred's continues to work with the FTC, Rite Aid and Walgreens to complete the transaction.
