The entertainment industry is reeling from the SAG-AFTRA strike of both the actors and writers which has not occurred in more than 60 years. The strike threatens to disrupt the production and distribution capabilities of the entire entertainment industry.

AT&T stock closed 6.69% lower on Monday at $13.53. The stock had an intraday high of $14.21 and an intraday low of $13.48. The stock has a 52-week high of $21.53 and a 52-week low of $13.48. Citigroup analyst Michael Rollins downgraded AT&T from a Buy rating to a Neutral rating and lowered the price target from $22 to $16, citing potential risks related to lead-sheathed cables.

Tesla Inc TSLA

Tesla stock closed 3.20% higher on Monday at $290.38. The stock had an intraday high of $292.23 and an intraday low of $283.57. The Elon Musk-led company’s stock has a 52-week high of $314.67 and a 52-week low of $101.81. The company announced that it officially produced the first Cybertruck over the weekend.

Verizon stock closed 7.50% lower on Monday at $31.46. The stock had an intraday high of $33.65 and an intraday low of $31.25. The stock has a 52-week high of $51.17 and a 52-week low of $31.25. A recent report by the Wall Street Journal revealed that a number of prominent telecommunications companies possess underground cable networks that contain hazardous lead substances.

Palantir b PLTR

Palantir stock closed 6.10% higher on Monday at $17.4. The stock had an intraday high of $17.59 and an intraday low of $16.32. Palantir shares have a 52-week high of $17.59 and a 52-week low of $5.92. Palantir stock is up nearly 175% year-to-date alongside several other AI-related names that have rallied significantly since the start of the year.
