Anthony Scaramucci served as the White House Communications Director under former President Donald Trump for eleven days, a stint so short it led to the creation of a unit of measurement.

Scaramucci has embraced the White House firing, opening up about his subsequent resurgence and resilience.

What Happened: Scaramucci served as the White House Communications Director in 2017, and has since become one of the most vocal critics of Trump.

While many might shy away from sharing they were fired from a White House position after such a short time, Scaramucci candidly addresses his dismissal rather than avoiding the topic.

“You didn’t even mention I got fired from the White House,” Scaramucci said on a recent episode of “The Raz Report.”
Scaramucci clarified that he was let go after 11 days, countering claims that it was just 10 days, a detail that he admits hurts his feelings.

The short stint in the White House has been humorously transformed into a time metric dubbed "Scaramuccis." He notes that Kevin McCarthy's duration as Speaker of the House was 24.5 scaramuccis, while Liz Truss's term as Prime Minister of the UK spanned 4.1 scaramuccis.

While some may have thought the time measurement bothers Scaramucci, it is instead the investor who is sharing how many scaramuccis represent certain time lengths, including Aaron Rodgers' brief stint with the New York Jets in the 2023 NFL season before injury.

Coming Back: Prior to serving in the White House, Scaramucci had a career in finance, previously working at Goldman Sachs and founding SkyBridge Capital.

It is that move back that is now the subject of a new book coming soon from Scaramucci titled “From Wall Street to the White House and Back: The Scaramucci Guide to Unbreakable Resilience.”
The book is scheduled to come out on April 16, 2024 and is available for pre-order now.

Scaramucci's new book signifies his move past his brief White House tenure, a journey that also involves not feeding into the social media criticism he receives.
Late-night comedians and cable pundits took aim at Scaramucci following his White House exit. “I committed myself to just moving forward,” he said.
He added that what other people think of you is nobody’s business. “You can’t let it bother you.”
Scaramucci also focuses on his mental health now and says that anyone who tells you they don’t get anxious sometimes is lying to you.
