On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Jim Lebenthal of Cerity Partners chose Transocean Ltd RIG, after the company reported its first-quarter results. EBITDA was “a lot better than expected,” he said.

Benzinga's analyst ratings data shows a consensus Neutral rating on Transocean.

Joseph Terranova of Virtus Investment Partners said Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated VRTX had a “strong earnings report.” The stock has the potential to trade above $400, Terranova added.
