Hillary Clinton is an American politician, diplomat, and attorney who served as the 67th U.S. Secretary of State under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013. She previously represented New York in the U.S. Senate from 2001 to 2009 and was the Democratic Party's nominee for president in the 2016 election. Clinton was also First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001 during the presidency of her husband, Bill Clinton.
