Cyber insurance has become a very fashionable space these days, said Ajit Jain, the vice chairman of insurance operations for Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BRK#NYSE">BRK</a>) (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BRK#NYSE">BRK</a>). Over the last few years, it has become <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/24/02/36987783/scott-mayor-founder-of-endurance-advises-businesses-on-managing-cyber-risk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">at least a $10 billion market globally</a>.
Speaking at Berkshire Hathaway&#8217;s annual shareholder <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3wLdzddRtI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">meeting </a>in Nebraska, Omaha, on Saturday, Jain said that the profitability of cyber insurance is also reasonably <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/05/38630719/warren-buffett-fears-the-ai-genie-thats-part-out-of-the-bottle-but-agrees-it-has-potential-to-do-goo" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">high, around 20% of the total premium</a>.
However, he said Berkshire tends to be very careful when considering cyber insurance liabilities because:

<li>Knowing the quantum of losses subject to a single occurrence and the aggregation potential for cyber losses is tough.</li>
<li>According to Jain, if some cloud operations come to a standstill, the aggregation losses can be huge, and not being able to understand a &#8220;worst-case cap on it is what scares us.&#8221;</li>
<li>There is a difficulty in understanding the loss cost of cyber insurance — not just for a single loss, but for losses over time.</li>
</ul>
&#8220;We have been fairly well contained, out of 100 cents of the dollar of the premium losses over the last four, five years, I think, have not been beyond 40 cents of the dollar, leaving a decent profit margin,&#8221; Jain added. 
Still, he highlighted that, currently, there isn&#8217;t enough data to fully understand the true loss cost.
&#8220;I have discouraged [staff] from writing cyber insurances,&#8221; Jain said. &#8220;Each time you write a cyber insurance policy, you are losing money.&#8221;
As a result, while cyber insurance is projected to be a huge business, it could be associated with huge losses.
&#8220;Our approach is to sort of stay away from it right now until we can&nbsp;have access to&nbsp;some meaningful data,&#8221; Jain cautioned.
Since the pandemic, cyberattacks have surged twofold, according to a <a href="https://www.imf.org/en/Blogs/Articles/2024/04/09/rising-cyber-threats-pose-serious-concerns-for-financial-stability">report </a>by the International Monetary Fund. While many companies faced minor direct losses, some, like Equifax, endured significant tolls. Equifax, for example, spent over $1 billion on breach compensation and the transformation of its data security following a major 2017 data breach impacting 150 million consumers.

The optimism stemmed from reports of the company receiving approval to roll out its full self-driving technology in China. Rivian Receives State Funding: Rivian Automotive, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RIVN#NASDAQ">RIVN</a>) said it received an $827 million incentive package from the Illinois Department of Commerce Economic Opportunity. Buffett stated that Berkshire pays substantial federal income taxes, emphasizing that it is appropriate for a company in a country as generous to business owners as the United States to fulfill its tax obligations.
He noted that Berkshire sent over $5 billion to the U.S. federal government in taxes last year. 
&#8220;If 800 other companies had done the same thing no other person in the United States would have had to pay a dime of federal taxes, whether income taxes, no social security taxes, no estate taxes.&#8221;

Technical Analyst Clive Maund takes a look at Perpetua Resources Corp. to explain why he believes the stock is a Buy.
Perpetua Resources Corp. (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ppta#NASDAQ">PPTA</a>) is a momentum play, and the reason why we are looking at it now is that it looks like the current strong upside momentum will continue for a while yet and if so, it will result in substantial gains over the short to medium-term and these gains will likely occur over the short-term for reasons that quickly become apparent when we look at its 6-month chart.
The story with this stock and the reason for its recent strong gains is that Perpetua Resources has received indication for up to US$1.8 billion financing from the export-import bank of the United States for Stibnite Gold Project, and a big reason for this appears to be that the mine, once constructed, will also produce large quantities of antimony that is used in munitions which currently is not produced at all in the U.S.
This funding is subject to certain conditions being met, but by the look of it, they will be. On the 6-month chart, we can see that upon this news being released, the price shot up on the 8th of this month, but after further gains, the next day resulted in it becoming extremely overbought short-term, it settled down to mark out what looks like a bull Pennant that once completed calls for a move of similar magnitude to the one leading into it. The way volume has died back steadily as this Pennant has formed indicates that it is genuine and not a top.
We can, therefore, expect another sharp towards the resistance level in the US$9 area that would result in a swift near 50% gain, and that could happen in short order given that this Pennant is now fast closing up.

The 5-year chart shows us the origins of the resistance that caused the advance to halt temporarily early this month and also the origins of the resistance in the US$9 area, which is our next target.

The long-term 16-year chart is interesting as it shows us that all of the action from 2013 may be regarded as marking out a giant base pattern, and if this is the case, it is not unreasonable to suppose, given the enormous upside potential of gold in the next several years, that once it succeeds in breaking above the resistance in the US$9 - US$10 area it could drive rapidly higher to equal or even exceed its 2012 highs in the US$37.50 area.

Perpetua Resources is therefore rated a Buy for all timeframes that will appeal to quick-fire speculators who want to make a big gain fast, and a stop may be placed beneath the lower boundary of the Pennant, say at US$5.45, to limit loss in the (unlikely) event that it breaks down from it.
This would probably only happen in the event that EXIM says to the company, &quot;You know that money we said we were going to front you to build that mine? Well, you&#39;re not getting it.&quot;
This seems highly unlikely.

Steven Steele, chief marketing officer of MAGA Memecoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/">TRUMP</a>), the Trump-themed cryptocurrency that has been making waves for being the former president&#8217;s <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/05/38554649/how-bad-is-donald-trumps-crypto-portfolio-down-with-bitcoin-below-58k">biggest portfolio holding</a>, thinks it is &#8220;increasingly likely&#8221; the 45th president becomes the 47th president of the United States.
In that case, we could be provided with &#8220;four more years of hilarity and catalysts,&#8221; Steele told Benzinga in an interview. 
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/politics/24/05/38598789/trump-vs-biden-2024-election-frontrunners-tied-in-new-poll-which-candidate-gains-in-popularity-a">Polls</a> have the former and the current presidents neck-and-neck, as have <a href="https://polymarket.com/event/presidential-election-winner-2024?tid=1714818859506">prediction markets</a>, which gave Trump a two-point edge over Joe Biden, as of May 4. 
Whether he secures a successful re-election bid or not, interest in Donald Trump will likely intensify between now and Nov. 5.
And with it, the appeal of investing in TRUMP, Steele said. He told Benzinga he cannot think of any person that will be covered more than Trump going into the election season &#8220;and probably beyond.&#8221;
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How MAGA Memecoin Turned &#8216;The Most Covered Person&#8217; Into A Cryptocurrency</h2>
Andrew Kang, a crypto venture capitalist, <a href="https://twitter.com/Rewkang/status/1754644977777258637">sees</a> Trump as &#8220;one of the best attention monopolizers in the world.&#8221;
His fund Mechanism Capital announced on Feb. 6 that it had accumulated TRUMP — the first meme coin than can &#8220;rival Dogecoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/doge/usd">DOGE</a>) and Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/shib/usd">SHIB</a>).&#8221;
Indeed, among meme coins, MAGA Memecoin is somewhat of a pioneer. It was the first to successfully introduce a meme coin based on a real-world person or cultural phenomenon. Speculating on the attention created by certain events, such as <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/23/11/36037143/after-munger-coins-crash-kissinger-tokens-flood-crypto-space-following-his-death-at-100">the death</a> of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, has since become a staple of the meme coin circus.
Steele, who initially was just an investor in TRUMP, said the &#8220;enormous potential&#8221; made him join as chief marketing officer. Following its inception in August 2023, TRUMP grew to a preliminary peak of $448 million in market capitalization on March 5 and is currently trading around a valuation of $220 million.
Steele attributes this rise in value to several key points:
Consistent marketing: MAGA Memecoin holds weekly spaces for its community and publishes Trump-themed memes on its X <a href="https://twitter.com/MAGAMemecoin">account</a>.
Philanthropic action: The project has donated over $1 million in Ethereum (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/eth/usd">ETH</a>) for 37 straight weeks to support for homeless veterans and the prevention of child trafficking. Steele pointed out this was one of key points that drew him in, with the National Veterans Homeless Support being able to scale its operation thanks to the donations.
Partnerships: MAGA Memecoin recently <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/04/38299089/trump-related-maga-memecoin-onboards-roger-stone-as-partner">announced</a> it had onboarded controversial political figure and self-proclaimed &#8220;agent provocateur&#8221; Roger Stone as a partner. 
But the inevitable consequence of success is competition, a rule that applies even — or particularly — to meme coins.

In a March <a href="https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2024/03/02/trump-maga-meme-coins-are-the-first-experiment-in-polifi/">interview</a> with Coindesk, Steele said he wants TRUMP &#8220;up there with a DOGE or SHIB, that kind of scale and market cap and popularity.&#8221; 
Asked how to make that a reality, Steele told Benzinga, &#8220;To get unprecedented results, you have to do unprecedented things.&#8221; 
Signing Stone is one example of that, Steele pointed out, as it brought MAGA Memecoin a lot of &#8220;normie&#8221; investors that bought TRUMP as their first cryptocurrency. 
But since Steele&#8217;s March interview, the political meme coin landscape has changed. TRUMP isn&#8217;t the only politicial meme coin anymore. 
In fact, it currently isn&#8217;t even the biggest one. BODEN (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/">BODEN</a>) a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/04/38077441/jeo-boden-meme-coin-clocks-new-all-time-high-on-56-daily-surge-1b-market-cap-is-absolute-f">meme coin parodying Biden</a> with intentionally poor spelling and cartoons, has recorded an astronomic surge to over $700 million in market capitalization and is currently trading at a valuation of around $290 million. The emergence of a quasi-rival has even sparked a <a href="https://polymarket.com/event/trump-vs-boden-first-to-1b?tid=1714822446721">prediction market</a> about which meme coin would get to $1 billion first (BODEN is leading TRUMP 54% to 46%).
Steele told Benzinga he is aware of the coin —&nbsp;and others that have boarded the &#8220;PoliFi&#8221; meta —&nbsp;but isn&#8217;t worried by or interested in them.
Indeed, a de facto rivalry between the two meme coins, similar to that between Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, could be positive and create more interest and loyalty among holders.

Donald Trump&#8217;s stance on Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) and crypto has shifted from considering them a &#8220;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/21/09/22753280/former-us-president-donald-trump-crypto-is-a-disaster-waiting-to-happen?utm_campaign=partner_feed&amp;utm_source=yahooFinance&amp;utm_medium=partner_feed&amp;utm_content=site">disaster waiting to happen</a>&#8221; and being &#8220;not a big fan&#8221; in 2021 to now expressing enjoyment with crypto and the &#8220;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/04/38048368/donald-trump-says-hes-making-money-from-crazy-new-currencies-which-cryptos-does-he-hold">crazy new currencies</a>&#8221; apart from Bitcoin.
Steele thinks there are &#8220;more than enough reasons to believe&#8221; the former president is aware of the meme coin his personality started, especially considering Stone was a consultant for Trump&#8217;s 2016 campaign. He suggested that Trump may have been referring to MAGA Memecoin in his mention of &#8220;crazy new currencies.&#8221;
Steele also shared that Trump is aware and a fan of Shawn Farash, the host of the project&#8217;s weekly spaces and a proficient Trump impersonator.

Trump&#8217;s allocation of TRUMP was an intentional &#8220;strategically savvy and hilarious&#8221; move by the project to promote the coin. And, just as planned, it has since become Trump&#8217;s biggest holding.
But what if Trump sells &#8220;his bag&#8221; of MAGA Memecoin? If the meme coin were to appreciate going into the election season, Trump&#8217;s current holdings of $2.73 million may prompt him to think about cashing out.
Steele acknowledged the possibility but does not see it as a problem. Similar to the 2021 incident when Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/21/05/21144678/ethereum-co-founder-vitalik-buterin-burns-410-trillion-shiba-inu-tokens-is-the-dogecoin-cl">sold and donated</a> his allocation of SHIB, Steele thinks it may even have a positive impact on MAGA Memecoin.
Whether TRUMP can really become, as Andrew Kang <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/02/36945628/first-memecoin-ive-seen-that-can-rival-dogeshib-crypto-fund-buys-trump-token">said</a>, the first meme coin to break the reign of dog-themed incumbents remains to be seen. Meme coins like Pepe (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/">PEPE</a>) and dogwifhat (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/">WIF</a>) — yet another dog coin — hold a substantial lead over political meme coins.

However, the key point is that Blink has guided for <a href="https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_4d0fab8340008dc842e9db6bc059e4a7/blinkcharging/db/86/1642/presentation/BLNK+4Q23+Earnings+Presentation_3.14.24_4+pm_FINAL.pdf">adjusted EBITDA break-even</a> by Dec. 2024.



With a presence in the U.S. and Europe, operating leverage will ensure that the margin expansion sustains beyond this year. It&rsquo;s also worth noting that the company&rsquo;s new manufacturing facility is operational in Washington, D.C. In-house manufacturing will also support the margin expansion story.



With the move towards profitability, strengthened balance sheet and positive industry tailwinds, BLNK stock is positioned for massive upside.



<h2>EVgo (EVGO)</h2>

However, it&rsquo;s worth noting that the stock has remained sideways in the last five months. With multiple reasons to be positive, I expect a strong reversal for EVGO stock from current levels.



For Q4 2023, EVgo reported stellar revenue growth of 83% yearly to $50 million. Even for the full year, revenue was higher by 195% at $161 million. Revenue growth has been robust and I expect healthy growth to sustain in the coming years.



It&rsquo;s also worth noting that for 2022, EVgo had reported an adjusted EBITDA loss of $80.2 million. For last year, adjusted EBITDA losses narrowed to $58.8 million. The company has guided for an adjusted EBITDA loss of $39 million (mid-range) for the current year. Further, EVgo expects adjusted EBITDA break-even by 2025. EVgo ended 2023 with a cash buffer of $209 million. I don&rsquo;t see any near term need for fundraising through equity dilution.



<h2>Wallbox N.V. (WBX)</h2>

The company provides residential, commercial and software solutions as an overview.



For Q4 2023, Wallbox reported 43.3 million euros in revenue and an adjusted EBITDA loss of 14.7 million euros. It&rsquo;s worth noting that <a href="https://investors.wallbox.com/news/news-details/2024/Wallbox-Announces-Fourth-Quarter-and-Full-Year-2023-Financial-Results/default.aspx">revenue increased by 34%</a> on a year-on-year basis. Additionally, the company has guided for positive adjusted EBITDA in Q2 and for the full year 2024. If this target is achieved, I expect a strong rally for WBX stock from deeply oversold levels.



It&rsquo;s worth noting that in Q4 2023, Wallbox acquired ABL, Germany&rsquo;s leading EV charging company. Further, last year, the company introduced several new products, including Pulsar Pro, Supernova 150 and WallboxCare.



Both these factors are likely to contribute to accelerated top-line growth in 2024.&nbsp; Wallbox also ended 2023 with a cash buffer of 107 million euros. This provides flexibility to invest in organic and acquisition-driven growth.

EV charging stocks have witnessed substantial correction in the last 12 to 18 months. The factors include cash burn, intense competition and macroeconomic headwinds. In my view, these near-term challenges present a good opportunity for exposure to quality EV charging stocks. Given the industry potential, multibagger returns are likely by 2030.



An important point to note is that there are big players like Tesla (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/tsla-stock-quote/">TSLA</a>) in the EV charging industry. I am, however, focused on emerging EV charging companies with millionaire-maker potential.



Talking about the industry size in the United States, the &ldquo;National Renewable Energy Laboratory <a href="https://www.energy.gov/eere/vehicles/articles/fotw-1334-march-18-2024-2030-us-will-need-28-million-ev-charging-ports">estimates that</a> by 2030 there will be 33 million EVs on the road and 28 million EV charging ports will be needed to support them.&rdquo;



Further, in November 2022, McKinsey estimated that building the EV charging infrastructure in Europe &ldquo;may <a href="https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/automotive-and-assembly/our-insights/europes-ev-opportunity-and-the-charging-infrastructure-needed-to-meet-it">cumulatively cost</a> upward of &euro;240 billion by 2030.&rdquo; Clearly, the markets are still at an early growth stage. Even with heightened competition, there is ample headroom for value creation.



Let&rsquo;s talk about three EV charging stocks with multibagger potential.



<h2>Blink Charging (BLNK)</h2>

Amidst volatility, BLNK stock has remained sideways in the last five months. A big breakout on the upside seems likely after some consolidation.



In terms of positives, there are two key points to note. First, Blink Charging has <a href="https://ir.blinkcharging.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/2500/blink-charging-announces-record-fourth-quarter-with-89">reaffirmed its guidance</a> for achieving positive adjusted EBITDA by December 2024. Further, for 2023, Blink <a href="https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_72546990e82bf7986a407fe4a76ab007/blinkcharging/db/86/1642/presentation/BLNK+4Q23+Earnings+Presentation_3.14.24_4+pm_FINAL.pdf">reported service revenue</a> of $26.4 million, which was higher by 111% on a year-on-year basis.



As the number of installed charging stations increases, service revenue will swell. That will support EBITDA margin expansion in the next few years. Last year, the company also opened its new manufacturing facility. Enhanced vertical integration is another factor that will support margin expansion.



It&rsquo;s worth noting that Blink ended 2023 with a cash buffer of $121.7 million. The current cash is sufficient to reach positive adjusted EBITDA. I don&rsquo;t see any major equity dilution again. That is another factor likely to support stock upside.



<h2>Wallbox (WBX)</h2>

However, I see the stock bottoming out around current levels and surging higher in the coming quarters.



In my view, there are two reasons to like Wallbox. First, for Q4 2023, the company reported revenue of 43.3 million euros. On a sequential and year-on-year basis, revenue increased by 33% and 34%, respectively. I expect revenue growth to accelerate this year, driven by the <a href="https://s28.q4cdn.com/641324054/files/doc_downloads/2024/03/Wallbox-Corporate-Presentation-Q4-2023.pdf">introduction of new products</a> and the acquisition of ABL.



Further, for Q4 2023, Wallbox improved adjusted EBITDA by 54% on a year-on-year basis. With continued cost-cutting efforts and operating leverage, I expect margin improvement to sustain. It&rsquo;s also worth noting that with the acquisition of ABL (Germany), the company <a href="https://investors.wallbox.com/news/news-details/2024/Wallbox-Announces-Fourth-Quarter-and-Full-Year-2023-Financial-Results/default.aspx">added 143 million euros of cash</a> to its balance sheet. That provides ample flexibility for organic and acquisition-driven growth in the next 12 to 24 months.



<h2>Enphase Energy (ENPH)</h2>

With the stock already looking oversold, I expect a strong rally relatively soon.



As an overview, Enphase is in the business of designing and manufacturing home energy solutions for the solar photovoltaic industry. The company is high on innovation and has already shipped 73 million microinverters globally.



While Enphase is not a pure-play EV charging company, the segment growth outlook is robust. The company&rsquo;s IQ EV charger is <a href="https://investor.enphase.com/static-files/7a95029a-a55b-4f1a-8fe1-5b3c41fef946">already being shipped</a> to the U.S. and Canada from the manufacturing facility in Mexico. The charger integrates into Enphase&rsquo;s solar and battery system. Additionally, the company has a bi-directional EV charger (vehicle-to-home and vehicle-to-grid) that integrates into the Enphase home energy system.



With the company having a strong global presence, expansion will likely be pursued in new geographies. It&rsquo;s worth noting that Enphase reported an operating cash flow of $696.3 million last year. Robust cash flows provide ample flexibility for aggressive growth.

While there are concerns, the markets have overreacted on the downside. In my view, even the slightest of positives will translate into a big rally from oversold levels for EV stocks. This column focuses on penny EV stocks likely to surge higher in the next few quarters.



In my view, potential rate cuts can be a catalyst for EV stocks trending higher. Lower interest rates will support global GDP growth and will likely be positive for the sector. Further, crude is trending higher on geopolitical tensions coupled with the expectation of easy money policies. Higher oil prices can potentially encourage consumers to shift towards EVs.



Let&rsquo;s talk about three penny EV stocks that can surge higher in the blink of an eye.



<h2>Solid Power (SLDP)</h2>

I believe this is a good time to accumulate, and a 50% upside from current levels is likely before the end of 2024.



As an overview, Solid Power has been working towards commercializing solid-state batteries. The company has collaborated with automotive partners, including Ford (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/f-stock-quote/">F</a>) and BMW (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/bmwyy-stock-quote/">BMWYY</a>). As a matter of fact, Solid Power has licensed its cell design and technology to BMW for parallel research and development. Further, the company has strong ties with SK On. That will likely help make inroads into the Korean market.

For the current year, the focus is on A-2 sample cells with the core objective of producing safer and high-performance cells. With ample liquidity and steady business progress, it&rsquo;s a matter of time before SLDP stock surges higher.



<h2>Wallbox (WBX)</h2>

It&rsquo;s worth noting that WBX stock has plunged 58% in the last 12 months, and sentiments seem negative. However, my business view is backed by positive business metrics.



It&rsquo;s worth noting that for Q4 2023, Wallbox reported <a href="https://s28.q4cdn.com/641324054/files/doc_downloads/2024/03/Wallbox-Corporate-Presentation-Q4-2023.pdf">revenue growth of 34%</a> on a year-on-year (YoY) basis to 43.3 million euros. The company&rsquo;s adjusted EBITDA improved by 54% YoY. Wallbox believes 2024 will be <a href="https://investors.wallbox.com/news/news-details/2024/Wallbox-Announces-Fourth-Quarter-and-Full-Year-2023-Financial-Results/default.aspx">&ldquo;a year of growth and profitability.&rdquo;</a> If this translates into numbers in the coming quarters, WBX stock could skyrocket.



Last year, Wallbox acquired ABL, the leading EV charging company in Germany. With the acquisition, the company added almost 143 million euros of cash to its balance sheet. That provides flexibility for pursuing aggressive growth. At the same time, the company launched several new products. Those includes Pulsar Pro, Supernova 150 and Supernova 180. A broader portfolio is another catalyst for accelerated growth.



<h2>Nio (NIO)</h2>

The downside has been on the back of poor business and financial metrics. However, NIO stock seems oversold and is poised for a strong reversal rally. I must emphasize here that I consider the stock as a trading bet rather than a long-term investment.



In terms of positives, there are two points to note. First, Nio plans to <a href="https://ir.nio.com/news-releases/news-release-details/nio-inc-provides-march-and-first-quarter-2024-delivery-update">commence deliveries</a> of ES7, ET7 and ET5 in Q2 2024. That is likely to help accelerate deliveries growth in the coming quarters and potentially into 2025.



Further, in December 2023, the company received a $2.2 billion strategic equity investment from CYVN. That has boosted the <a href="https://ir.nio.com/news-releases/news-release-details/nio-inc-reports-unaudited-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2023">total cash buffer to $8.1 billion.</a> With a strong cash position, Nio is positioned to continue investing in growth. At the same time, with a focus on cost-cutting, key margins will likely improve. NIO stock is, therefore, expected to rally from deeply oversold levels.
