NXP Semiconductors reported quarterly earnings of $3.24 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.16 by 2.53%. Quarterly sales came in at $3.13 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.127 billion by 0.11% and represents a 0.29% increase over sales of $3.121 billion from the same period last year, according to data from <a href="https://pro.benzinga.com/dashboard">Benzinga Pro</a>.

Our first-quarter results, guidance for the second quarter, and our early views into the second half of the year underpin a cautious optimism that NXP is successfully navigating through this industry-wide cyclical downturn. NXP said it sees second-quarter adjusted earnings of between $3.00 and $3.41per share, versus the $3.11 per share estimate and total revenue in a range of $3.025B billion to $3.225 billion, versus the $3.13 billion estimate.
NXP Semiconductors shares rose 3.7% to close at $256.19 on Tuesday.

Eventually, my thirst for more information related to the (albeit) fictional, but incredibly addictive &#8216;Harry Potter&#8217; world brought me to fan theories, five of which I have listed below (and some of them actually make sense).
Harry And Sirius: Family Ties?
The bond between Harry Potter and his godfather Sirius Black was always uncanny, which is why many of us were completely heartbroken when he died. But why was their relationship so special? Well, some fans think that Harry was more than just Sirius's best friend's son. In &#8216;Order of the Phoenix,&#8217; when the Black family tree was shown, some fans found a connection between the Potters and Blacks. Considering that almost all pureblood families in the wizarding world intersect at one point, this theory is highly plausible.

Let me make this straight, nothing excuses the mistreatment Harry had to suffer when he was staying with the Dursleys. But, think about it, given Harry always had a part of Voldemort inside him, just like a Horcrux, could it have influenced their behavior? This theory may not completely eradicate the dislike most of us have toward Vernon Dursley, his wife and Harry's aunt, Petunia Dursley, and their son Dudley Dursley, but it might just explain it.
