Quarterly sales clocked in at $55.902 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $36.666 million by 52.46% and is a significant increase over sales of $36.161 million from the same period last year.
The company reported first-quarter net revenue growth of 55% year over year, driven by strong roxadustat performance in China and one-time drug product revenue recognized from the US/RoW AstraZeneca agreement termination.&nbsp;
Cash, cash equivalents, investments, and accounts receivable were $214.7 million, and the company projected it has a cash runway into 2026.

The analyst said Palantir beat revenue estimates from analysts and raised its full-year revenue and operating income guidance.
"We continue to view Palantir as uniquely positioned to leverage its core data stitching competencies into enterprises that are looking to deploy AI use cases."
The analyst said over 915 organizations have participated in AI boot camps to date, with 136 deals closed in the first quarter.
"We look to gauge to what extent Palantir can consistently convert bootcamps into bookings and revenue as we believe this go to market is still in the early stages of being formalized."
Mizuho on Palantir: The company's artificial intelligence platform showed encouraging signs, Moskowitz said.
The analyst said the first-quarter financial report was solid with "healthy revenue upside."
"The rebound in Government was a pleasant surprise, although the Commercial beat coming entirely from strategic commercial contracts was not," Moskowitz said.
The analyst said the strong report and raised guidance "could help alleviate potential investor concerns."
"We believe PLTR needs to consistently demonstrate stronger execution and growth in order to justify a higher valuation."
The analyst said Palantir showed strong momentum for its AI Platform, with high demand coming from U.S. enterprises.
"Mgmt also reiterated that it is seeing exceptional interest in its AIP bootcamps, which are helping PLTR meaningfully compress sales cycles as new customers are landing and expanding at an accelerating rate."
The analyst's $21 price target is based on an enterprise value divided by sales multiple of 18.5x for 2024 estimates and 15.5x for 2025 estimates. Moskowitz said the premium multiple to other enterprise software companies is based on Palantir's "strong strategic positioning with large customers and the potential for accelerated growth in future years."
PLTR Price Action: Palantir shares are down 14% to $21.65 on Tuesday, versus a 52-week trading range of $8.66 to $27.50. Palantir shares are up 180% over the last year.

The U.S. economy added 175,000 jobs in April, well below Wall Street expectations of 240,000, strengthening bets that the Federal Reserve will be able to cut interest rates in the coming months. Health care and social assistance led the way with a gain of 87,000 jobs.
The unemployment rate ticked higher to 3.9% against expectations it would hold steady at 3.8%. Average hourly earnings rose 0.2% sequentially and 3.9% year over year, both below consensus estimates. The jobless rate tied for the highest level since January 2022. The labor force participation rate, or those actively looking for work, was unchanged at 62.7%.
The slower job growth could be good news on the inflation front but cause economic slowdown. Below, we have highlighted some of the sectors that will likely see smooth trading in the days ahead in light of the April jobs data.

Healthcare
Employment in the healthcare industry increased by 56,000 in jobs, in line with the average monthly gain of 63,000 over the prior 12 months. Considerable job gains occurred in ambulatory health care services (+33,000), hospitals (+14,000), and nursing and residential care facilities (+9,000)

Transportation 
Employment in transportation and warehousing rose by 22,000 in April. In April, employment also increased in couriers and messengers (+8,000) and warehousing and storage (+8,000) were also notable.&nbsp;Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) SPDR S&amp;P Transportation ETF (ARCA:XTN) can thus be considered for a play. Airlines company Alaska Air Group (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/alk#NYSE">ALK</a>) has a Zacks Rank #2.
Retail 
Retail trade continued to trend up in April (+20,000). Over the prior 12 months, the industry had added an average of 7,000 jobs per month. In April, notable employment was seen in areas like general merchandise retailers (+10,000), building material and garden equipment and supplies dealers (+7,000), and health and personal care retailers (+5,000).
As far as the fund is concerned, SPDR S&amp;P Retail ETF (ARCA:XRT) has a Zacks Rank #2. The Kroger Co. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/kr#NYSE">KR</a>), which operates in the thin-margin grocery industry, also has a Zacks Rank #2.
Construction
In April, employment in construction (+9,000), following an increase of 40,000 in March. Over the prior 12 months, construction had added an average of 22,000 jobs per month. Investors can keep a watch on the price movement of Invesco Dynamic Building &amp; Construction ETF (ARCA:PKB).
The fund PKB is comprised of stocks of U.S. building and construction companies. Many have questioned the financial health of 777 Partners, a Miami-based investment firm. It&#39;s why the Premier League has hesitated to approve the group&#39;s attempted takeover of Everton, despite owning stakes in teams in Europe and Australia.
A federal lawsuit filed Friday may have put the final nail in the coffin.
Leadenhall Capital Partners, a British asset management company, alleges in the suit that it had provided more than $600 million in funding to 777, before learning that about $350 million in assets either didn&#39;t exist, weren&#39;t owned by the firm, or had already been promised to other lenders. A slew of 777-related companies and individuals are named as defendants, including owners Josh Wander and Steven Pasko, and their biggest lender, Kenneth King and his firm A-Cap.
&quot;Wander has already admitted to rampant and fundamental breaches of the parties&#39; agreements&mdash;the only question now is whether Leadenhall will be able to recover millions of dollars in damages from a house of cards on the brink of collapse&quot; reads the lawsuit, filed in district court in New York.
A-Cap said through a spokesperson that the lawsuit&#39;s claims are &quot;baseless.&quot; Leadenhall called A-Cap the &quot;Wizard of Oz behind the 777 Partners&#39; curtain.&quot;
Everton announced in September that its majority shareholder, Farhad Moshiri, had agreed to sell his 94.1% stake in the team to 777. But the firm couldn&#39;t provide the required financial information for approval, and, in April, the team began looking for another buyer. Amid the ownership debacle, Everton has also been docked points this season for breaching financial rules. Friday&#39;s claims could end the group&#39;s current quest for Premier League ownership.

I had an excellent discussion yesterday with Fitzroy Minerals Inc. (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ftzff#OTC">FTZFF</a>) Chairman Campbell Smyth and CEO/Director Merlin Marr-Johnson who contacted me from Merlin&#39;s home office in NW London (U.K.).
Without going into detail, subscribers should be prepared for an onslaught of news on the three main projects as preparations are being made for a 3,000-metre program at Caballos and a 2,000-metre program at Polimet. After consulting with Fitzroy Minerals&#39; Qualified Person, Dr. Scott Jobin-Bevans, and corporate consultant Gilberto Schubert, FTZ management has decided to drill Polimet first due to its proximity to existing infrastructure and due to the presence of numerous copper and copper-gold mining operations situated between 1,000 and 1,600 meters above sea level.

In the graphic shown below, it should be noted that values running over 2% copper (Cu) and over 16 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) have been reported in mining operations such as Guanaco-Lazo, El Bronce, Pedro de Valdivica, and at Santa Margarita, located immediately below Polimet.
The high-grade mineralization is prevalent in the area depicted by the green shading, so it is plainly obvious that a well-constructed drill program will have a high probability of encountering the mineralized envelope between 1,000 and 1,600 meters ASL.
As for the Caballos project, the company has learned that multinational gold mining giant Newmont Corp. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/nem#NYSE">NEM</a>) has applied for permission to build a service road to their property and, once completed, would shave significant costs from the Caballos budget as the expenses of renting horses and horse handlers has escalated sharply in recent months. This could push out the drill program to September (or longer), as it makes perfect sense to wait for the road access before incurring unnecessary expenses.

Lastly, again, without going into too much detail, the Taquetren Project, located in Patagonia, Argentina, is shaping up to be a very interesting gold project and very much the immediate focus for the FTZ management team. I have always told subscribers that the key to Taquetren was (and is) Daniel Bussandri, the local prospector/geologist who discovered Navidad, the 800- 800-million-ounce silver deposit currently owned by Pan American Silver after buying it for US$640 million in 2009.
The new gold showing has the potential for grade and scale, with the third key component being &quot;continuity&quot; and that is precisely what the team will seek to confirm when they go to work in the Patagonian spring.
Fitzroy has a terrific team of managers and directors with ample experience in all aspects of exploration and development.
