Dr. R. Parthasarathy, the COO and surgical gastroenterologist at GEM Hospital in Chennai, has been a strong advocate for the Apple Vision Pro. &#8220;There is no delay in transmission,&#8221; he told&nbsp;The Hindu. &#8220;I had a better vision and was connected to the real world.&#8221;
&#8220;In addition, if I want to view a CT scan, I can simultaneously see it in the device itself. It will display the scan adjacent to the surgery screen,&#8221; he added. This aids in preventing the surgeon from needing to turn their head to view various monitors, a potential disruption to the surgical procedure.

Apple's Vision Pro Headset Becomes Surgeons' Tool Of Choice For 'Keyhole' Surgeries

Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>) is <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/24/05/38680360/apples-secret-project-and-bold-move-towards-in-house-ai-chips-could-this-be-a-threat-to-nvidia">developing in-house artificial intelligence chips</a> even as it charts out plans to make a big splash in the AI arena, multiple media reports suggested recently. Against the backdrop, a bullish analyst weighed in on what this could mean for the tech giant.
Another Breadcrumb: &#8220;Cupertino [is] ready to play chess on AI..while others [are] playing checkers,&#8221; said Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives in a note. Apple&#8217;s rumored plan to put some of its most advanced high-end chips in data centers and use them to process its more advanced AI-based services was another breadcrumb, heading into the company&#8217;s annual World Wide Developers Conference, the analyst said.
&#8220;Apple is not going to be driving 45 MPH in the right lane when it comes to its AI strategy set to be unveiled at WWDC in June and will be riding in the left lane at 80 MPH,&#8221; Ives said. The company would be looking to monetize AI on the Services front, with developers the linchpin to this strategy, he said.

Why It&#8217;s Important: Apple&#8217;s intent to use its advanced homegrown chips around AI gives the company more control over its AI plan, the Wedbush analyst said. He expects the company to build out a broader chip ecosystem for its AI strategy.
&#8220;In this AI Revolution [Tim] Cook and Apple are much further down the path of its own proprietary AI LLMs and technology than the Street expects in our view and this move is another tipping of the hand heading into what could be the biggest unveil event for Cook and Cupertino in roughly a decade,&#8221; Ives said.
What To Expect At WWDC: At the conclave of developers kickstarting on June 10, Apple will likely unveil its &#8220;long-awaited&#8221; AI strategy to its &#8220;golden installed base&#8221; and developer community, Ives said. The analyst expects an <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/24/05/38701300/apples-new-m4-ipads-more-powerful-than-any-ai-pc-today-set-to-boost-sales">AI-driven super-cycle, starting with the iPad lineup, </a>launched this week, and continuing through the AI-powered iPhone 16 this fall.
Ives also sees the launch of an AI App Store, which would be the foundational starting point for developers and AI apps over the coming years. Tapping into the 2.2 billion iOS devices worldwide along with an iPhone 16 model that will break new ground in AI and begin this next supercycle at Apple, he added.
Ives has an Outperform rating and a $250 price target for Apple.

U.S. stocks settled higher on Thursday, with the Dow Jones index recording gains for the seventh straight session.
Roblox Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RBLX#NYSE">RBLX</a>) posted better-than-expected first-quarter financial results, but issued weak guidance. Airbnb, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ABNB#NASDAQ">ABNB</a>) shares dipped around 7% on Thursday after the company reported first-quarter financial results.
On the economic data front, U.S. initial jobless claims increased by 22,000 to 231,000 on the week ending May 4, higher than market estimates of 210,000.
Most sectors on the S&amp;P 500 closed on a positive note, with utilities, real estate and energy stocks recording the biggest gains on Thursday. However, information technology stocks bucked the overall market trend, closing the session lower.
The Dow Jones closed higher by around 331 points to 39,387.76 on Thursday. The S&amp;P 500 rose 0.51% at 5,214.08, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.27% at 16,346.26 during Thursday's session.
Investors are awaiting earnings results from Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HE#NYSE">HE</a>), Enbridge Inc. What Happened: The Model Y long-range all-wheel drive version can house either five or seven individuals. While the five-seat interior is included in the price of the vehicles, customers looking for seven-seat interiors, which includes a third-row seating for two, will have to pay an additional charge.
The long-range all-wheel drive version of the Model Y starts at $47,990 and opting for the seven-seat interior will add an additional $1000- $2000, depending on customer color preferences. 
While the all-black seven-seat interior is priced at $2000 on stealth grey Model Ys, customers can get $1000 off on opting for black and white mixed interiors. 
Stealth Grey is the only exterior paint option that is included in the starting price of the Model Y. For all other paint options, customers have to pay a premium ranging from $1000- $2000.
Why It Matters: The Model Y is Tesla&#8217;s <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/01/36840882/its-official-teslas-model-y-rewrites-history-as-first-ev-to-top-global-car-sales-just-as-musk-predic">best-selling vehicle </a>starting at $44,990 for the base version. However, all versions of the car are eligible for a $7,500 federal EV tax credit, taking the effective price for eligible customers significantly lower. 
According to data from automotive research company&nbsp;Kelley Blue Book, Tesla saw its Model Y sales rise 1.4% to 96,729 units in the U.S. in the first quarter. Model 3, S, and X, however, all saw their sales dip between 13.3% and 43.9%.

You Can Now Save $1,000 On Your 7-Seat Tesla Model Y, But There's A Small Catch

President Joe Biden has established a substantial lead over his presumptive opponent <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/donald-trump">Donald Trump</a> in Wisconsin, a crucial swing state, according to an opinion poll released on Wednesday.
Head-to-Head Matchup: In a head-to-head matchup, Biden secured the support of 50% of the respondents, while Trump received a more modest 44% support, as per the Quinnipiac University poll of registered voters. The remaining 6% either indicated they wouldn&#8217;t vote, were undecided, would vote for someone else, or refused to disclose their preference.
The poll gathered responses from 1,457 self-identified registered voters in Wisconsin between May 2-6, with a margin of error of +/- 2.6 percentage points.
Party-wise Breakdown: Among Democrats, Biden enjoyed 97% support, while among independents, he secured 50% support. Conversely, Trump garnered 95% of Republican votes, with 43% support from independents.
Five-Way Race: When independent candidates Robert Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West, as well as Green Party candidate Jill Stein, were included on the ballot, the dynamics shifted:

<li>Kennedy: 12%</li>
<li>Stein: 4%</li>

</ul>
Eighty percent of Biden&#8217;s supporters in a two-way race remained loyal to him in the five-way race, while 11% shifted to Kennedy, 7% to Stein, and 2% to West. Trump&#8217;s support was less affected by the expanded ballot, with 87% of his initial supporters sticking with him. Only 10% switched to Kennedy, and 1% each to West and Stein.
&#8220;While the modest lead for Biden in the head-to-head will certainly resonate with his base, when all the candidates are thrown into the mix the race between Biden and Trump is basically a tie,&#8221; said Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy.

Regarding the ongoing issue of protests on college and university campuses, 50% opposed it, 38% supported it, and 11% did not offer an opinion.
When asked to prioritize the most urgent issue facing the country from a list of 10 options, 24% mentioned the economy, while 20% each chose immigration and preserving democracy.
A majority of voters (65%) rated the nation&#8217;s economy as either &#8220;not-so-good&#8221; or &#8220;poor.&#8221; Forty-nine percent believed the economy was worsening, while 30% felt it remained the same, and 20% believed it was improving.
However, respondents were more positive about their personal financial situations, with 65% describing them as either &#8220;excellent&#8221; or &#8220;good.&#8221; Despite this optimism, 61% of voters expressed <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/05/38634229/the-vanishing-american-dream-inflation-hits-even-six-figure-earners-and-threatens-middle-class-stabi">concerns about inflation</a>, stating that their income was not keeping up with the cost of living.
In a notable trend favoring Trump, 47% of voters reported being worse off financially in 2024 compared to 2020, while 41% claimed they were better off, and 10% reported no change.
Forty-nine percent of respondents expressed opposition to Biden&#8217;s student loan cancellation proposal.
Biden&#8217;s job approval rating was a modest 39%, with a majority (58%) disapproving of his performance as president.
These results hold significance as Wisconsin is one of the seven swing states in the current presidential election cycle. Swing states, which have swung between Republicans and Democrats in recent years, are crucial battlegrounds where candidates focus their campaign efforts to gain an advantage. The outcome in these states could be pivotal in what is anticipated to be a closely contested election.
Wisconsin, previously considered a &#8220;blue-belt state,&#8221; shifted to Trump in the 2016 election before returning to the Democrats in 2020, reclaiming its status as a swing state.

Deepwater Asset Management&#8217;s Managing Partner Gene Munster has voiced concerns over the morale at Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) following the departure of several senior executives. However, he is hopeful that the company will improve its revenue growth by 2025.
What Happened: On Thursday, Munster expressed his views during CNBC&#8217;s &#8220;Last Call&#8221; on the recent exodus of Tesla executives and mass layoffs which have caught the attention of investors and critics alike.
"This is a clear sign that morale is low,&#8221; he said.
However, Munster is hopeful that in a couple of months, &#8220;the people that are still there will pick up the slack and continue to march forward.&#8221;
Looking forward to the June quarterly reports, Munster feels while there might be a slight decline in revenue growth, it is expected to bounce back to over 25% in 2025.
&#8220;We are not out of the woods yet when it comes to returning to growth for Tesla,&#8221; he said.
Munster comments come in the wake of reports of multiple senior executives leaving Tesla, including the heads of its charging infrastructure and new product departments. This follows CEO Elon Musk&#8217;s push to downsize the company&#8217;s workforce.

Historically, Warren Buffett has focused on high-performance, well-established American banking, insurance and staples stocks. Often buying names that pay investors significant dividends. In recent years, however, he has become more diversified, buying shares of some <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/technology/">tech stocks</a> and a number of developing-market plays. As an investor who believes that buying <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/growth-stocks/">growth stocks</a>, overseas equities and turnaround plays can be much more profitable than focusing on U.S. value plays and staple producers, I certainly endorse the Oracle of Omaha&rsquo;s transformation. 



While American insurance stocks, staple producers and value stocks in general can generate profits and will never lose anyone much money. They will also never triple or quadruple in a few years like great growth stocks can. Here are three somewhat under-the-radar Warren Buffett stocks that can generate high profits for investors relatively quickly. 



<h2>Citigroup (C)</h2>

The bank <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/5c70bd7c-5ce8-4562-bcf8-23fb21b31d22">recently recruited the head</a> of JPMorgan&rsquo;s (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/jpm-stock-quote/">JPM</a>) investment-banking unit, Vis Raghavan, to become its head of banking. According to an anonymous source at Citi, Raghavan, who just got promoted to head of investment banking in January by JPM, did a good job during his tenure at the latter bank. 



Indeed, according to JPM, its global investment banking unit achieved the #1 ranking for <a href="https://www.statista.com/statistics/244750/top-global-bond-investment-banks-by-fee/">global investment banking fees</a> last year. Additionally, its gross investment banking and markets revenue soared 32% last quarter versus the same period a year earlier. 



Meanwhile, the revenue generated by Citi&rsquo;s banking unit <a href="https://www.citigroup.com/global/news/press-release/2024/fourth-quarter-full-year-2023-results-key-metrics">sank 15% last year</a>, and Citi&rsquo;s investment bank has consistently lagged behind rivals. Given these points, I&rsquo;m confident that Raghavan will turn around Citi&rsquo;s banking unit. 



Moreover, Citi, which has a large overseas presence, is cutting costs a great deal and should benefit from economic strength in the U.S. and other parts of the world, such as India and Latin America. The forward <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/C/key-statistics">price-earnings ratio</a> of C stock is a tiny 9.4, making its valuation quite attractive. At the end of Q4, Buffett owned 55.2 million shares of C stock. 



<h2>Atlanta Braves Holdings (BATRA)</h2>

According to&nbsp;Boyar Intrinsic Value Research President Jonathan Boyer, if the Braves are sold, the value of Atlanta Braves Holdings (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/batra-stock-quote/">BATRA</a>) stock would soar to $55 per share, versus its current level of $42.35.



Also noteworthy is that the teams&rsquo; revenue climbed 9% in 2023 to $640.7 million. Further, the team reported on Feb. 28 that its season tickets were already sold out for the 2024 season ,while the company is upgrading its stadium in order to drive more commercial opportunities. 



That reasoning apparently appealed to Buffett, as his company, Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/brk-a-stock-quote/">BRK-A</a>, NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/brk-b-stock-quote/">BRK-B</a>), owned about 224,000 shares of the stock as of the end of last quarter. Buffett&rsquo;s company owned about 4 million shares of BATRA stock.



<h2>Nu Holdings (NU)</h2>

The fintech firm is clearly benefiting from strong economic growth and rapid digitalization in a number of its markets. Its <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4070791-nu-holdings-q4-revenue-beats-thanks-to-higher-purchase-volume-deposits">top line soared</a> 65.5% last quarter versus the same period a year earlier to $1.4 billion, while its net income, excluding certain items, soared 3.5 times to $396 million. Also noteworthy is that Nu&rsquo;s customer base rose by a net total of 4.8 million in Q4 and by 19.3 million versus Q4 of 2022.



Nu&rsquo;s CEO, David Velez-Osomo, <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/article/4672792-nu-holdings-ltd-nu-q4-2023-earnings-call-transcript">noted that the firm emphasizes</a> &rdquo;&nbsp;fast customer expansion, expanding revenue per customer and efficient operating costs&nbsp;&rdquo; That formula is clearly working. 



In 2024, Nu plans to significantly grow its customer base and the amount of credit it provides in Mexico. It also intends to generate meaningful loan growth in Brazil. The firm notes that it can provide interest rates &ldquo;20% to 30%&rdquo; below those of its competitors because of its direct-to-consumer approach. As a result, I believe that the firm has a great deal of growth ahead of it, making it one of the best Warren Buffett stocks to buy. 



Berkshire owned 107.1 million shares of Nu as of the end of Q4.
