The company's premiere product, the FDA-approved Lap-Band, provides minimally invasive, long-term treatment of obesity and is an alternative to more invasive surgical stapling procedures such as gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy.

The company received approval from the FDA for a PMA supplement for a new Lap-Band 2.0, an important leap forward in the technology.
