The excerpt shared by Clinton from Time journalist Eric Cortellessa paints a picture of an “imperial presidency” where Trump would be willing to deploy the U.S. military for mass deportations, allow states to monitor women’s pregnancies, and potentially fire U.S. Attorneys who don’t follow his orders.

Why It Matters: The post comes in the wake of a series of interviews where Trump discussed his potential plans if re-elected. Trump hinted at the prosecution of President Joe Biden, contingent on the Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity.
