Before we tell you the five steps you need to take to win this free South Korea trip, you should know what's included in this. You get 5 days, 4 nights tour with the following inclusions:

  • Round-trip tickets to Korea.
  • Accommodation and travel insurance.
  • A personalized tour package.

You can bring along a Plus One, but they should be related to your story, or a minor, or elderly, or have disabilities.

The travel period is May 20 to May 24, 2024.

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

  • You should be a non-Korean national residing outside Korea.
  • You must hold a passport and be clear for immigration during the tour dates.

The contest accepts self-applications as well as recommendations.

Step 2: Craft A Touching Story

The primary selection criteria for this contest is your story. Making it as personal and touching as possible is the best way to increase your chances of winning.

The theme for this contest is "My personal story, memory, or connection to Korea."

The idea is to draw a connection to the country – it could be anything, from an encounter with someone from Korea, or memories with your friends or past visits to the country.

A good way to craft a touching story is by being as true and emotional as you can and complementing words with photos and videos.

Step 3: Submit Your Story

Once you have your story ready, you will have to visit the "Korea Invites U" website to submit your application.

  • On the "Korea Invites U" website, look for the "Apply" button.
  • Now, paste your story in the text box. It can be up to a maximum of 3,000 characters, so make sure it is concise.
  • You have the option to attach relevant photos as well as videos.
  • Agree to the required terms and conditions.

The last date to submit applications is April 19, 2024.

Step 4: Be Ready For An Online Interview

Shortlisted applicants could be asked to present themselves for an online interview as well, so make sure you remember your story and have all other relevant information ready in case you are asked to appear for an online interview.

Step 5: Check Your Application Status
