Ex-President Donald Trump has launched a verbal attack on New York Attorney General Letitia James during his ongoing civil fraud trial. Trump criticized James for her demeanor during the proceedings.
As per a report by The Hill on Monday, Trump accused James of “smirking all day long” from her seat in the courtroom. This attack comes as Trump’s legal team is presenting its defense against fraud allegations aimed at his business empire.

Trump expressed his discontent on his social media platform, Truth Social, describing James as a “racist A.G.” who, in his view, is deriving too much pleasure from the trial proceedings.
Trump’s lawyers have a challenging task ahead as they put forth their defense. This comes after Judge Arthur Engoron found the Trump Organization and its executives liable for fraud before the trial even began.
This civil trial is one of five legal battles Trump is currently involved in, two of which relate to his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
