Tesla Inc. TSLA has begun distributing invitations to the winners for the much-anticipated Cybertruck delivery event.
What Happened: Following a raffle, the selected Tesla shareholders have been issued these invites to be a part of the event in person. Martin Viecha, Tesla’s Head of Investor Relations, confirmed the completion of the attendee list last week and now, the invitations are being sent out, Teslarati reported.
Viecha took to X, formerly Twitter, urging the invitees to check their emails, including the spam folders, and recommended they bring along a fellow Tesla community member as their guest.
The event is set to take place on Nov. 30 at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Austin, Texas. A few lucky winners took to social media to confirm their participation in the upcoming event.
In an effort to maintain fairness, Tesla held a lottery for the event. Over the past few days, a considerable number of Cybertruck castings have been seen at the Texas Gigafactory, suggesting that the company is gearing up for the delivery event.
Why It Matters: This event has been eagerly awaited by Tesla customers, who had the chance to attend the event if they had sufficient referral credits. A few months ago, Tesla revealed a Cybertruck delivery event invite referral program award where users with 30,000 referral credits could redeem them for an invitation to the event.
The mail sent to users also clarified that two people could attend the event with one invitation, and each Tesla account could only secure one invitation.
