Court Employee Gets Arrested For Disrupting Donald Trump's New York Civil Fraud Trial: 'I Am Just Here To Support'

Former President Donald Trump was back in court on Tuesday for his New York civil fraud trial when a spectator was arrested for causing a disruption. The woman, identified as a court system employee, was apprehended after walking towards the front of the courtroom during the proceedings.

According to an Associated Press report, the woman had expressed her desire to assist Trump but was ultimately escorted out of the courtroom and charged with contempt for disrupting the court proceeding.

"You're scaring me, and I have a right to be here. I'm an American citizen, and I'm also a court employee. I'm also just here to support Donald Trump,” she was heard saying outside the courtroom.

Court spokesperson Lucian Chalfen confirmed the incident and stated that the woman had been placed on administrative leave and barred from entering state courts while the matter was investigated.

The trial continues against Trump and top executives at the Trump Organization, with accusations of conspiring to inflate Trump’s net worth by billions of dollars. The case was brought forward by New York Attorney General Letitia James. Trump denies all allegations.

The disruption didn’t deter the proceedings, and the trial continued with testimonies from key witnesses.
