Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reacted to a video that allegedly shows House Republican Lauren Boebert involved in inappropriate behavior at a theater in Colorado.
As per a Newsweek report on Friday, the video, captured on September 10, purportedly displays Boebert and her date engaging in "sexually lewd acts" at Denver's Buell Theatre.
The pair were reportedly ejected from the theater for vaping using a phone, and causing disturbances during a performance of "Beetlejuice." The surveillance footage appears to show Boebert's companion groping her and vice versa.
In a statement, Boebert expressed regret over her behavior, which she admitted did not align with her values. However, she did not comment on the alleged sexual acts.

Ocasio-Cortez responded to the incident through a video shared with her 323,000 TikTok followers, where she called for consistent media coverage and equal treatment.
"All I gotta say is I can't go out to lunch in Florida in my free time, not doing anything, just eating outside and it's wall-to-wall Fox News coverage and then you have a member of Congress engaging is sexually lewd acts in a public theater and they got nothing to say," she said.
"I danced to Phoenix once in college and it was like all over the place. But putting on a whole show of their own at Beetlejuice and there's nothing? I'm just saying be consistent. That's all I'm asking for. Equal treatment. I don't expect it, but come on."
Boebert's team initially denied the vaping allegations but later admitted to it after contradicting footage surfaced. Boebert apologized and maintained that she had no intention to deceive.
The male companion with Boebert was identified as Quinn Gallagher, the co-owner of the Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar, which has hosted drag shows in the past.
