Elon Musk‘s new biography reveals that he used to follow his younger sister to clubs and parties during his teenage years to avoid loneliness, Business Insider reported

The book by Walter Isaacson unveils Musk’s struggle with social life during his family’s time in Toronto. It recounts that the future CEO of Tesla Inc. and SpaceX spent most of his time reading or working on the computer. However, he would accompany his outgoing sister, Tosca, to social events, despite her insistence that he “stay ten feet away”.

The book also divulges Musk’s early difficulties in making friends and understanding social cues, which he eventually learned from reading.

Another interesting snippet from the biography includes a story about Musk passing out during a meeting in Russia after consuming vodka shots.

“Elon Musk” hit the bookstores on Tuesday.
