- Apple refers to the operation as its "nerve center" because it lets employees, suppliers, and customers stay connected.

- Mary Demby, the current information chief, will retire after 2022.
- Her deputy, vice president of software engineering David Smoley, will retire after a three-year stint.
- Campos held the chief information officer role at Facebook from 2010 to 2016. Most recently, he co-founded Woven, a popular calendar app Slack Technologies Inc acquired in 2021, which Salesforce, Inc CRM later purchased.
- Apple's chief privacy officer, vice president of industrial design, and head of the company's online retail store will also depart.
- Apple also parted ways with its vice president of procurement following his appearance in a crass TikTok video.
- Price Action: DIS shares traded higher by 3.92% at $140.17 in the premarket on the last check Thursday.
