Toyota's Czech Plant Grapples With Parts Shortage Issue, Halts Production: Report

Toyota Motor Corporation's TM Czech manufacturing plant has reportedly suspended production due to a parts shortage caused by a fire at a local supplier.

The halt will impact the company's production plan, Reuters reported citing a statement from spokesperson Tomas Paroubek.

The outage is the second in 2023 at the plant, producing 1,000 cars a day after a break in February, Reuters added.

The outage's duration remains unclear as of now, the report added. 

Price Action: TM shares are trading higher by 1.56% to $165.33 on the last check Tuesday.
