Fisker Launches Extreme Vigyan Limited Edition For India Market

Fisker Inc FSR plans to produce 100 Fisker Extreme Vigyan Edition all-electric SUVs for the Indian market.

The company expects to homologate the Fisker Ocean Extreme Vigyan Edition, named for the company's India subsidiary, by September.

The company expects to begin deliveries to the world's third-largest automotive market in Q4 2023. 

Pricing is expected to match Europe, where the Fisker Ocean Extreme is priced at €69,950 in Germany. Import taxes and logistics will be added in for India.

"India offers exciting opportunities for us," said Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker.

"Following the successful start of deliveries in Europe and the US, we're thrilled that we can bring the Fisker Ocean Extreme, with its class-leading range and unique features, to a new market where we plan to grow our brand rapidly over the coming years."

The Fisker Ocean Extreme has an EPA range of 360 miles on standard 20-inch wheels and tires. Fisker established an office in Hyderabad in 2022. 

Price Action: FSR shares are trading higher by 3.8% at $6.41 on the last check Monday.
