Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass Trial Period Reduced: $1 Offer No Longer Lasts 1 Month

Microsoft Corporation MSFT has made some changes to its Game Pass offer, reducing the trial period to 14 days instead of one month.

New customers can try Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass for $1 for 14 days before paying the full monthly price, IGN reported.

Meanwhile, it's worth noting that Xbox Game Pass for Console no longer has a $1 trial and is available for $11 per month.

The changes were implemented ahead of the release of Bethesda's Starfield on Game Pass in September.

Last month, Microsoft also introduced Game Pass Core, which replaces Xbox Live Gold and allows players to access a select collection of games for $10 per month or $60 per year. The list includes "Among Us," "Fallout 4," "Forza Horizon 4," "Psychonauts 2," and "Halo 5: Guardians."

Recently, Xbox Series X got a 10% discount as part of Dell Technologies Inc's DELL Black Friday in July sale, available for $449.99.
