Walt Disney Co.'s DIS subscription TV service Hulu is gearing up to hike prices for its Hulu + Live TV bundle — but it's not the only streaming service to take this step.
What Happened: Hulu has started sending emails informing customers about increasing the subscription rates for its highly-popular Hulu + Live TV bundle, according to Apple Insider.

The price of Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (No Ads), and ESPN+ (With Ads) will increase from $75.99 a month to $82.99 a month, starting on the first billing cycle on or after Dec. 8, the company confirms on its website.
This is the same day as the ad-supported Disney+ platform is slated to launch.
What Rival Platforms Are Doing: Alphabet Inc.'s AAPL YouTube Premium Family Plan will also witness a substantial price increase from $17.99 to $22.99 starting Nov. 21.
Apple Inc. AAPL has also hiked prices for Apple One, Apple Music and Apple TV+ subscriptions, the report noted.
Netflix Inc. NFLX has announced its ad-supported plan in the U.S beginning Nov. 3 at $6.99 per month.
