Owens & Minor, Inc.
OMI reported FY3Q10 EPS of $0.50, versus our/consensus estimates at $0.48/$0.49, Goldman Sachs reports. Revenue grew 1.4% year-over-year in the face of challenging utilization trends, which was relatively in line with Street expectations and 2.5% above Goldman Sachs' expectations.
“While the quarter was slightly better than what we perceived to be low expectations, we still believe hospital utilization trends pose a significant headwind and are likely to persist beyond this year,” Goldman Sachs writes. “We maintain our Sell rating and $25 12-month price target.”
Owens & Minor closed Monday at $27.94.
