Private Equity firm Thoma Bravo has been discussing a potential bid with some of its investors for NCR Corp (NYSE: NCR), according to sources as reported by Reuters. An offer for NCR could value the manufacturer of ATM's at approximately $9 billion.Marcato Capital Management, which has a seat on NCR's board, has been calling for the company to explore strategic alternatives and now holds a seat on its board of directors.
